This week starts a new edition of the WWE Draft . The event will begin on Friday, October 1 at the Friday Night SmackDown show that will be held in Baltimore, concluding the following Monday, October 4, at the Monday Night RAW show that will take place in Nashville. The two nights will have as objective the regrouping of the casts of both brands, defining the new groups that will be presented at the FOX and USA Network shows.
In the last hours we have learned that the NXT brand will be involved in the Draft . This means that NXT fighters could become part of Raw or SmackDown. This has been confirmed by Andrew Zarian , from the Man Men podcast. ” I have heard that NXT will participate in the draft . Expect some calls (to the main roster),” Zarian wrote on Twitter a few minutes ago.
However, no changes are expected from Raw and SmackDown towards the yellow mark. WWE has made moves on both sides in recent months, sending Mandy Rose to NXT or Karrion Kross, Finn Bálor and the duo of Tegan Nox and Shotzi Blackheart to Raw and SmackDown respectively.
